The year within the Older Brother, Older Sister program began with an important step. The Addiction Prevention Competence Centre and the War Childhood Museum signed a long-term Memorandum of Cooperation, formally establishing significant support for children and young people involved in the Older Brother, Older Sister program. Preventeen is an addiction prevention program aimed at empowering people who work with children and young people in their free time to implement activities based on scientifically proven models of effectiveness. Through this approach, the program seeks to contribute to creating a higher-quality, safer, and healthier environment for the growth and development of children and young people. Young participants in the program go through training in the fields of addiction prevention and health promotion, and they actively take part in designing and implementing activities focused on protecting their own health.

In January 2025, a one-year volunteer engagement of the Boombar project volunteers began, encompassing a series of activities, trainings, workshops, and social events. Throughout this period, the volunteers demonstrated a high level of effort and dedication, as well as strong motivation to develop life skills and promote healthier lifestyles.
