In October 2023, the volunteers of the Boombar project began their one-year engagement filled with various activities, workshops, training, and social events. During this time, they demonstrated dedication, commitment, and a desire to develop life skills and promote healthier lifestyles. The Older Brother, Older Sister (OBOS) mentoring program is celebrating its 20th anniversary of existence, unity, and humanity this year. The first in a series of planned activities was a joint outing for children and volunteers, held on May 25th at the Mojmilo Forest Park. Each pair, consisting of a child and a volunteer, planted a rose as a symbol of their companionship, friendship, and time spent together, creating memories for a lifetime. The rose will serve as a reminder of the group activity and the development of their relationship.

Snježni vikend nije spriječio volontere i volonterke u programu Stariji brat, starija sestra da održe planirani izlet na Igman i posjetu Planinarskom domu Čavle u nedjelju 27.02. U ranim jutarnjim satima volonteri i volonterke sa „svojim mlađim bratom ili sestrom“ uputili su se na jednodnevno druženje u prirodi. Cilj ovog druženja bio je spojiti sve volontere/volonterke i djecu kako bi se bolje upoznali, zbližili i družili, a također cilj je bio razvijati različite vještine kod djece i učiti o timskom radu.
