The Association for Addiction Prevention NARKO-NE announces a public call for volunteering in the Boombar Project for youth aged 15 to 18 who wish to dedicate their free time to community service. Over the course of a one-year engagement, volunteers will develop their life skills through practical work at a mobile alcohol-free cocktail bar, which aims to create a safe environment for the socialization of children and youth and to promote healthy, alcohol-free alternatives.
What are the basic criteria for application?
• You are between 15 and 18 years old.
• You can attend the introductory training (both days are mandatory).
• You have 10 to 20 hours of free time per month and want to invest them in volunteer work.
What does the volunteering engagement include?
• Mandatory introductory training for all volunteers, which will take place on January 21 and 22, 2025, in Sarajevo.

• Preparing alcohol-free cocktails and hosting events with the mobile bar in the community.

Transportation costs are covered for local public transport but not for intercity travel. If certain activities are organized outside Sarajevo, transportation will be provided.
The volunteering engagement lasts for one year (from the first day of training until December 2025), with the possibility of extending the volunteering experience to other activities and projects.
