The Association for Addiction Prevention NARKO-NE invites young people aged 18 to 30 from Bosnia and Herzegovina to volunteer in Aachen (Germany) as part of the European Solidarity Corps program!
The project is titled Solidarity with People with Disabilities.
Volunteering Locations: Pax Christi Aachen and Vinzenz-Heim Aachen
Volunteers will support the inclusion of people with disabilities through everyday activities and tasks, such as:
– Assisting with daily activities (e.g., setting the table, making coffee)
– Organizing leisure time
– Helping with cooking and shopping
– Providing support during trips and vacations
– Assisting with mobility (e.g., pushing a wheelchair, walking with a visually impaired person)
– Participating in team meetings
Volunteer engagement lasts from February to May 2025. The preparatory process (documentation, obtaining a visa, etc.) begins immediately after the volunteer selection.
Knowledge of German is not mandatory but is desirable. All costs are covered (one level of language course, health insurance, accommodation, pocket money, transportation). Before departure to Germany and throughout the volunteering period, the selected volunteer will receive continuous support from a mentor at NARKO-NE.
