Successful Completion of the Guiding Stars Cycle

From October 2023 to June 2024, 24 volunteers served as Guiding Stars, volunteering in five primary schools, three high schools, and at the Educational Center of the Sarajevo Canton. In the primary schools, volunteers provided learning support to more than 20 students who needed it, contributing to literacy and the prevention of addiction at the primary school level. Additionally, the Guiding Stars conducted eight pilot workshops in high schools on topics such as addiction prevention, coping skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, emotional recognition, and more. Association for Addiction Prevention NARKO-NE at a New Address

Due to the need for expanding spatial capacities, the NARKO-NE Association will continue its operations from July 1, 2024, at the following new addresses: Hermanna Gmeinera 13 and Hermanna Gmeinera 16 (SOS Children’s Village complex).  The NARKO-NE Association started its work in 2002 with the vision of a quality and healthy life in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 22 years of work, we have not changed our vision, but we have expanded the target groups we work with, which is why we need a much larger space than the existing one.

Presented Research Results on Employee Health Monitoring and Protection in FBiH

A Wonderful Experience I Would Repeat Without a Second Thought. My name is Silvana, I am 23 years old, and I performed my volunteer duties from August 2023 to May 2024. Older brother Older Sister Roses as a Symbol of Eternal Friendship

The Older Brother, Older Sister (OBOS) mentoring program is celebrating its 20th anniversary of existence, unity, and humanity this year. The first in a series of planned activities was a joint outing for children and volunteers, held on May 25th at the Mojmilo Forest Park. Each pair, consisting of a child and a volunteer, planted a rose as a symbol of their companionship, friendship, and time spent together, creating memories for a lifetime. The rose will serve as a reminder of the group activity and the development of their relationship.

Bihać – Call for Participation in Training on the European Prevention Curriculum
