On December 30, 2025, the Addiction Prevention Strategy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2025–2035 was adopted. The process of drafting and adopting the Strategy was coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, with professional and advisory support from the Addiction Prevention Compentence Centre. Following the endorsement of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Strategy was adopted by both chambers of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples.
