Gambling Addiction: A Hidden Addiction Affecting Children and Youth

Every fourth child aged 13 to 17 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) participates in some form of gambling. Between 2016 and 2023, citizens of the Federation of BiH spent approximately 13 billion BAM in betting shops. A New Group of Teachers trained for Implementing Life Skills Development Programs for Children in Grades 1-4

The curriculum Let’s Grow up Together has gained new educators in the Sarajevo Canton. In the 2024/2025 school year, they will work with their students on developing and enhancing life skills, promoting health, and focusing on addiction prevention and risky behavior prevention through a series of workshops. Guiding Stars Start a New Volunteer Year 

On Thursday, September 25, 2024, a training session was held for the new cycle of the Guiding Stars program, which begins its activities in October. Successful Completion of the Guiding Stars Cycle

From October 2023 to June 2024, 24 volunteers served as Guiding Stars, volunteering in five primary schools, three high schools, and at the Educational Center of the Sarajevo Canton. Trainers for the Program Who Actually Wins?

Who Actually Wins? is a licensed prevention program aimed at preventing youth involvement in gambling.
