{"id":4507,"date":"2024-01-11T14:07:41","date_gmt":"2024-01-11T13:07:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prevencija.ba\/news\/poziv-za-mlade-iz-bih-za-volontiranje-u-njemackoj\/"},"modified":"2024-09-06T08:18:17","modified_gmt":"2024-09-06T07:18:17","slug":"poziv-za-mlade-iz-bih-za-volontiranje-u-njemackoj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prevencija.ba\/en\/poziv-za-mlade-iz-bih-za-volontiranje-u-njemackoj\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Young People from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Volunteer in Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Association for Addiction Prevention NARKO-NE invites young people aged 18 to 30 from Bosnia and Herzegovina to volunteer in Aachen (Germany) as part of the <em>European Solidarity Corps program<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is titled <em>Solidarity with People with Disabilities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteering opportunities are available with<em> Pax Christi Aachen and Vinzenz-Heim Aachen<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteers will support the inclusion of people with disabilities through daily activities and tasks, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Assisting with daily activities (e.g., setting the table, making coffee) \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organizing leisure activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Helping with cooking and shopping<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Providing support during trips and vacations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Assisting with mobility (e.g., pushing a wheelchair, walking with a blind person)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013Participating in team meetings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The volunteer engagement lasts from June 2024 to May 2025 (12 months). The preparatory process (preparing documentation, obtaining a visa, etc.) begins immediately after the volunteer is selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Knowledge of the German language is not mandatory but is desirable. All costs are covered (one level of language course, health insurance, accommodation, pocket money, transportation). Before departure to Germany and throughout the volunteer engagement, the selected volunteer will receive continuous support from a NARKO-NE mentor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications are accepted until all volunteer spots are filled. Please send your application (CV and motivation letter) to azra.halilovic@prevencija.ba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<em> European Solidarity Corps (ESC)<\/em> is a European Union initiative that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer or work on projects in their own countries or abroad that benefit communities and people across Europe.
